About
I’m a Wyoming native, born and raised. I’m married and with two young children, so life is pretty busy at the moment to say the least. When I’m not working, I love to grow and cook my own food, delve into a great novel (I’m a sucker for a good drama), and immerse myself in the great outdoors often with our dog Miles, always with a camera in hand.
My drive and passion for creativity and the arts started when I was very young, and at the age of 10, I was capturing life behind disposable kodaks that I purchased and developed with my allowance from my parents (I really wish I still had these to go through!). But I didn’t stop there. I participated in a children’s art camp when I was 11 & 12 years young, where I really enjoyed the plein-air exercises. Watercolor was my favorite medium in high school, often creating landscapes. I continued to enjoy taking portraits of my friends and our adventures through high school with my dad’s borrowed SONY point and shoot camera, and leading up to my adulthood I purchased my first DSLR. The rest is history.
My expertise in photography dates back to 2014 (although let’s be honest back then it was not great). I would practice using the models I had, my family, the dog, our travels, you name it. Through determination, education, and practice, I was able to start taking on clients. In 2017 I branched into filmmaking, learning the ins and outs of creating a story from start to finish through concept to final edit, executing it all including camera operation, audio mixing and design, motion graphics, and more.
